How will this will benefit Michael Without Borders? Cafe Press charges a base price for it's goods. We have marked up the cost of the merchandise for the cost of putting our logo on it. Since the company is American, Michael Without Borders receives between $1 and $6 American for every item you buy. After shipping and the base price, a small percentage of your money will go to us. Though, if you want to help spread the word, most of our goods have this web address on it, so you will potentially help bring in more donations with your purchases. What can I buy? Our store sells a variety of shirts, mugs, buttons, magnets, greeting cards and a bag. If you have any suggestions for products to sell, please let us know. What hidden costs are there?Unfortunately, Cafe Press will require that you pay for shipping (approximately $6 for the first item and $3 for a second item - both amounts in American dollars). Due to logistical challenges (selling merchandise across a whole country and potentially overseas), there was no easy way to do set up shirt sales. This way we can easily sell to both the East and West Coast of Canada and anywhere else in the World (International shipping rates may be more). Also, since the exchange rate fluctuates daily, the prices may change often, as will the amount of money that we recieve from Cafe Press. |
